It not only includes four (4) $10,000.00 scholarships that are given to a deserving senior at Crystal River, Citrus, Lecanto and Dunnellon High Schools, the Foundation also gives away many academic grants that range from $500.00 to $2,500.00.

As of today, the foundation has awarded (16) $10,000.00 Scholarships and (15) Academic Grants that will ensure that more that 30 local high school students have an opportunity to continue their dream of a better life through a college education. Including this years recipients, the Mike Hampton Pitching-In Foundation has given more that $170,000.00 to our local public education system.

To celebrate the accomplishments of its recipients, the Mike Hampton Pitching-In Foundation, along with the Citrus County Circle of Friends, honor the students, their parents and school principals at a wonderful dinner held at Black Diamond Ranch.
