Pitching-In Foundation

The Mike Hampton Pitching-In Foundation is a publicity supported, non-profit organization that supports many local charities and youth based organizations.

The Foundation uses corporate and personal contributions, fundraisers, special events and other activities to support selected non-profit organizations that serve and benefit those in needs.

To insure beneficiaries of the Mike Hampton Pitching-In Foundation will receive maximum benefit from contributions made, every dollar received from corporate donations, individual donations or special events will go to charity and youth based groups.
The foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that make financial contributions to children's charities. Through these contributions we hope to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children in the area of health, education and human care services.

The foundation is not limited geographically; however we currently support organizations that primarily serve families within the Citrus County area.

To qualify for funding from the foundation and The Circle of Friends, an organization must:

  1. Be a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service.
  2. Have a record of outstanding service in effectively and efficiency delivering programs and services that improve the lives of disadvantaged children.
  3. Serve community needs in the area of health, education or providing human care services.
  4. Deliver services that impact the lives of children, both short and long-term.
  5. Ensure that 100% of grant monies received are used for the exclusive benefit of those in need.
